The membership application and all associated forms are in PDF format which require “Adobe Acrobat Reader” software installed on your computer in order to view and print them. If you do not have this software, you can download a free copy at www.adobe.com.
Please fill in all areas on the applications.
Please note the Associate and General Contractor applications have four pages. A completed application form (page 1) bargaining rights assignment form (page 2) and constitution signature page (page 3) are required by our office before your application will be considered. If you do not wish to assign bargaining rights, place your initials in the “NO” designated area for all trades. Sheet Metal Local #1 bargaining rights form (page 4), is required if you want to assign bargaining rights to that trade.

After we receive your application we will mail you a copy of our Constitution and By-Laws. If you would rather receive a copy of our membership packet via U.S. Mail please contact us with your request and put the appropriate Membership Type in the subject line along with your company name & mailing address in the body. We will get one in the mail to your promptly so you can begin the application process. If you have any questions regarding this process please contact us via email or call our office at 815-223-0561. Qualifications of Membership
The members of this Association shall be persons, firms or corporations engaged in construction work in the Illinois Valley. Categories of membership are listed below. Not more than one person representing any firm shall be entitled to vote at any of the meetings of the members of the Association.
Membership Categories

General Contractor
Any person, firm or corporation, of good repute, actively engaged as a General Contractor or Construction Manager, shall be eligible for General Contractor Membership.
Associate Contractor
Any person, firm or corporation, of good repute, who is not a General Contractor or Construction Manager but who employs construction workers on construction job sites, shall be eligible for Associate Membership.
Industry Affiliate
Membership is limited to individuals or firms in affiliated industries identified with construction and who have a material interest in the welfare of the industry and this Association, and does not participate in Commercial Construction.
