Eligibility Criteria
Scholarship Requirements
Applicants must be:
- Actively enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a course of study leading to a degree which could help advance the Illinois Valley Construction Industry,
- Be associated with the Illinois Valley Construction Industry as an employee, spouse or child of a contributing contractor, or an employee, spouse or child of the Association or Industry Fund,
- Or be a member or employee, their spouse or child, of a participating local union
- Have maintained a scholastic average of B- 2.5 GPA
- Must be a full time student (A minimum of 12 hours).

Obtain the Application
Applications can be acquired by calling 815-223-0561, visiting the Illinois Valley Contractors Association at 1120 First Street, LaSalle, IL, or from a participating local union office. Alternatively, download the application from our website.

Complete the Application
Fill out the PDF application form or online application form thoroughly. Ensure all sections are completed accurately to avoid disqualification.

Submit Your Application
Mail or email the completed PDF application along with all required documents to the address provided. Ensure it is postmarked by the deadline to be considered. Online applications will be emailed to the office.
Applications for the 2025 – 2026 academic year will be accepted beginning July 1, 2025. Deadline for returning the application is August 31, 2025.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit an official copy of their most recent transcripts or GED final test scores with their application. Ensure all documents are included, as incomplete applications will not be considered. Download the application in PDF format from our website, and make sure Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed to view and print the document. Missing documents will result in disqualification from the selection process.
